South African actress Michelle Mosalakae, who plays the role of Zikitha on Isibaya, has bagged herself a role on on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela The Queen Mzansi.

Michelle, who made her debut appearance on the show this week, stars on the show as Kamina, a young girl from the South Kivu Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) who joined the rebel group in her late teens after witnessing her mother and multiple women from her village getting raped and killed. She was the first true love of Kagiso’s life. They met while he was deployed at the DRC.
Taking to social media, the talented actress thanked the Ferguson’s and their entire team for the opportunity. She further thanked them for trusting her to breathe life into her new character Kamina.
The actress recently posted pictures of her new character with bruises and dirty clothes.
“Shout-out to The Queen Mzansi’s s incredible make-up and wardrobe department. I would look in the mirror and be like “damn…this girl looks ROUGH! I absolutely love the fact that some people couldn’t recognize me,” – Michelle Mosalakae captioned her Instagram snap.
