Responsibilities
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting the sale of Schedule 1 medicines or scheduled substances.
- Assisting with call center scripts and handling patient service telephone calls.
- Providing health-related information to individuals to promote well-being.
- Assisting with scheme authorization for chronic, HIV and AIDS, and oncology medication.
- Reporting low or out-of-stock levels and stock errors to the dispensary manager.
- Receiving dispensary stock in accordance with company SOPs.
- Assisting with the unpacking, merchandising of stock, and cleaning of dispensary and OTC shelves as approved by the responsible pharmacist.
- Undertaking any other duties as assigned by the Dispensary Manager.
- Ensuring accurate picking, packing, labeling, and checking of medication, and being aware of common dosages and important drug interactions.
- Ensuring that all medications are checked for accuracy by a pharmacist and signed off accordingly.
- Following up with patients regarding script tracking reports as requested by the dispensary manager and scheduling follow-up appointments.
Requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (HG) and either Physical Science or Life Science.
- Must have achieved a minimum average of 50%.

- Proficiency in English and a second language, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Strong time management skills, ability to work under deadlines, and capacity to handle pressure.
- Attention to detail, effective communication skills, including listening and customer service focus.
- Problem-solving ability, team player mentality, conflict management skills, leading by example, and demonstrating accountability.
- Professional conduct, trustworthiness, and honesty.
- Proficiency in computer and numerical skills.
