News anchor, Lindi Sirame, of Newzroom Afrika returns to radio and will reign supreme on the drive time slot ‘The Kings Suite’ with Siphesihle ‘Sphectacula’ Ngwenya and Lebogang ‘DJ Naves’ Naves.
Sirame, is currently part of Newzroom Afrika’s biggest show ‘Your View’ of which she co-hosts alongside JJ Tabane. She will now bring an enthusiastic pulse on hard-hitting news and add her dynamic energy to entice the afternoon listeners on Metro FM. Her key interest in current affairs will be evident in her news reporting and will highlight her diverse knowledge.
A background in journalism is what Sirame prides herself in, having completed a BA degree in Journalism from The University of Johannesburg. To top that, she also has several years of experience in the industry, with a household name at stations such as YFM, Kaya FM as well as ANN 7 – this making Sirame a trusted voice for news reporting.
“My growth has definitely been gradual with many lessons learnt. I want to continue that going forward. I love that I am now on two national platforms that actually both extend beyond the country’s borders. I cannot wait to grow in both my roles and redefine myself as a young broadcaster who’s both informative, reliable but also relatable,” concludes Sirame.
