Nomzamo Mbatha’s Lighthouse Foundation has raised R1.5 Million to help the fight against Covid-19. The money will be used to mobilize an immediate response to organisations on the ground on the African continent.

Nomzamo, who moved to Los Angeles in the United States to pursue her dreams, a Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, spoke to SABC news anchor Chriselda Lewis via Skype from Los Angeles.
Mbatha also said that some of the funds will be donated towards the Nelson Mandela Foundation which is currently running the Each One Feed One campaign.
According to ZAlebs, Nomzamo Mbatha will be involved in tonight’s One World Together At Home virtual concert which was created to encourage people to stay at home during the lockdown.
