Generations-The Legacy actress Thuli Phongolo and Muvhango’s Raphael Griffiths love story can easily be compared to a storyline in one of their TV dramas.
In 2015 it was reported that Thuli and Raphael parted ways after she dumped him for the son of a very rich mogul and he was left broken-hearted, but they eventually got back together again. The pair were said to have dated even before Thuli landed her role as Namhla on Generations.
A snooper at the SABC building says Thuli and Raphael are madly in love but because Raphael is not from a “well-off” family like Thuli, he still needs to win over the hearts of her parents. “Raphael adores Thuli but he thinks her parents don’t like him because he does not even have a car. Thuli bought herself a Mercedes Benz this year and he sometimes gets lifts from her.”

Raphael who plays Vusi on Muvhango told DRUM that he was not comfortable talking about the matter, “I’m not really comfortable talking about this, sorry.”
