Back by popular demand, Kofifi Dance Movement is bringing the 12th edition of the Kofifi Dance Party to Meropa Casino & Entertainment World on Saturday, 02 November 2024.
The Kofifi Dance Party transports you back to the lively and nostalgic atmosphere of the 1950s Kofifi era through a fusion of music, fashion, and dance styles.
Event highlights include live performances of authentic music from the golden age of South African jazz and kwela, as well as a celebration of retro fashion from the Kofifi period.
Don’t miss this immersive journey through time! The Kofifi Dance Party not only pays tribute to the past but also fosters community engagement and cultural preservation. It’s a blend of entertainment that educates and entertains, appealing to both history enthusiasts and dance lovers.

Polokwane Gin Festival 2024 – Saturday, 09 November 2024
Nothing screams summer more than a refreshing gin and tonic in hand.
The SA Gin Society is coming back to Meropa Casino & Entertainment World with its Schweppes Polokwane Gin Festival 2024, which is taking place on Saturday, 09 November 2024.
Soak up the summer vibes with a complimentary gin cocktail upon arrival, sample local and international gin brands, and savour delicious eats from various food stalls.
This year’s instalment includes live hip-hop, house and amapiano entertainment as well as Sip & Paint art class for those feeling inspired.

The prestigious 3rd Annual Africa’s Women Wealth Builders Awards 2024 will take place at Meropa Casino & Entertainment World on Saturday, 09 November 2024.
Organised by SheMillionare, an organisation dedicated to empowering women toward financial independence, the event will honour 33 African women from various fields.
This awards ceremony celebrates African women who have made a significant impact through their empowerment and leadership. It also offers a valuable opportunity for networking and participation in a movement focused on enhancing women’s wealth in Africa.
Headlining the awards is Zimbabwean Rebecca Muchenje, popularly known as Becky K. She will be joined by other influential women, including former chairperson of the African Union, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma; former president of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), Dr Martha Manundjebo-Tilahun and Deputy Managing Director of MBR Signature Ltd, Ezinne Rachel Ezeani, both from Namibia. South African actresses Sophie Ndaba and Bawanile Ntshaba.
