Kickstart Youth Day’s long weekend with the Mlindo the Vocalist Live Experience happening under the Big Top Arena at Carnival City on Saturday, 15 June 2024.

The Afrosoul, Piano, Hip Hop, and House line-up features a full line-up of performances by Maphorisa, Kabza the Small, Sjava, Kwesta, Big Zulu, Young Stunna, Musa Keys, Nkosazana Daughter, Mqobi Yazo and Blaq Diamond.

It will be a night of nonstop entertainment and music brilliance you won’t want to miss.

About Mlindo the Vocalist

Mlindo the Vocalist, real name Lindokuhle Mgedeza, is a well-known South African singer and songwriter.

Born in Port Shepstone on October 7, 1995, Mlindo started building his musical career early on. He joined a hip hop group called Flow Riders in 2010 and later formed an a cappella group, White Bread, in 2014. White Bread achieved some success, even winning awards.

Mlindo’s big break came in 2017 when he won a talent competition called Golden Search. This win led to an opportunity to work with the record label Afrotainment. But it was his 2018 debut single, “Amablesser”, that really skyrocketed him to fame. The song resonated with many listeners and became a major hit.

Mlindo’s debut album, Emakhaya, was released in 2018 and included “Amablesser”. Since then, he has become a household name in South Africa and collaborated with a who’s who of South African music, including Sun-El Musician, Nathi, Riky Rick, and many more.
